Stayed here with my family members and overall greatly enjoyed this apartment. The host family and honest and amiable staff took care of me. Its location was stunning, close to Ella Happy View as well as the train tracks to Ella town.

An easy stroll along the train tracks took us to a charming little village with vibrant shops and delicious street food. The kids loved exploring and we found the locals to be friendly and welcoming. It was a great way to experience the local culture and immerse ourselves in the beauty of Ella.

Ella Happy View offers a superb location right on the train tracks, with a wonderful view of the valley below Ella. Guests can enjoy watching the quaint local trains passing by multiple times a day. The guesthouse is conveniently located just a short walk along the railway track to the town center, where you can find multiple local restaurants. The rooms are clean and en-suite, providing a comfortable stay with stunning views of Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak.

Communication with the staff can be a bit challenging due to their limited English proficiency.

What a charming homestay. I was sad we couldn’t extend our stay. It was quaint, and the room with the balcony was a must. Watching the trains and sunrise was a treat. Walking along the train tracks to the town centre and Nine Arch was convenient. Would come back just to stay here again!

The walk along the train tracks to the nearby town was a fun adventure for our family. We loved exploring the local shops and restaurants, and the kids especially enjoyed watching the trains pass by. The picturesque views along the way were absolutely stunning and made our walks even more memorable. It was a unique and authentic experience that we will always cherish.

For dads, it would be great to have some outdoor activities or a playground for the kids.

I had an exceptional stay at this guesthouse in Ella. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure I had the best experience during my trip. Despite the language barrier, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and even guided me to the top of Ella Rock, which was an amazing experience. The location of the guesthouse was perfect, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was clean and the shower had hot water. The breakfast and dinner provided were delicious and I felt truly taken care of. I highly recommend Ella Happy View and will definitely book again on my next visit.
